With the rapid economic development of coastal areas, land demand is increasing.coastal reclamation project become an important way to expand the land. In theconstruction of coastal engineering, large-scale coastal reclamation project is growing, especially in the Bohai Bay reclamation project. In order to evaluate the materialtransport caused by joint action of multiple reclamation within the whole Bohai baywaters, it is necessary to research tidal current field in the gulf and analysis changes ofthe bay tidal power. In this paper, a Bohai sea wide tidal current mathematical model is established, which is compared with the measured water level to prove the validity of the model. On this basis, tidal current mathematical models under different terrain is established.Divide Bohai bay area into different areas, compare and analyze the change of localtide power in whole and partial wave bay under different terrain. It is concluded thatBohai bay tidal field change is different under the action of Tianjin port single andcombined action of Tianjin port, Caofeidian port. And the different performance alsodiffer in some regions. At the same time, on the basis of the Bohai bay tidal current field, this paper alsomake a comparative analysis of pollutants diffusion caused by bay tidal field change. The results show that pollutants near tianjin mainly move in coastal area along withalongshore current; Pollutant diffusion speed and the diffusion area turn down withthe change of Bohai Bay topography. It shows that the diffusion of the pollutants isaffected by terrain change obviously.
