The parallax of telescope system plays a key role in optical measurement whenthe telescope is used in the measuring instrument. As optical processing techniqueimproved, the precise parallax measurement of telescope system is more and morenecessary. The traditional parallax measurement performs badly in the control oftolerance and measuring efficient. Meanwhile, the measuring results are vulnerable tosubjective. The automatic measuring method based on the CCD optical systemperforms better in stability and efficient. More importantly, the measuring methodbased CCD optical system is objective. So it is becoming a general method in parallaxmeasurement. The dissertation has carried out some researches and experiments onthe automatic measurement of telescope system’s parallax, and proposed a design ofautomatic parallax measuring system. The content of this paper is as follows:A design of parallax measuring system is proposed, a selection design ofhardware equipment is established, and the whole system is fabricated.A focus evaluation function based on discrete cosine transformation is designed,which has more excellent performance. A fuzzy controller applied in auto-focus isintroduced, which has better searching capability. Robust software using designpattern is compiled.The automatic parallax measuring system is fabricated and used as a platform tocarry out some experiments. Solutions for the problems appeared in measuringprocess are established.
