Northeast China is rich in forest resources, including endangered plant resources are particularly rich, with high medicinal and economic value, but its protection grim.It is difficult for conservation biologists that the endangered forest plant species are seriously threatened by climate change, resulting in the extinction and migration of species. In this study the use of methods of species distribution models and geographic information systems for the Northeast endangered wild forests plants more systematic assessment. First, the main mountain of northeast systematic investigation, recording distribution points for each endangered forest plants; according to species distribution point data and using Maxent model to predict suitable habitat of endangered plants of each simulation; ArcGIS10.0extracted suitable habitat area of the current and future throughout the Northeast, endangered forest plants of each county and nature reserves in the Northeast, and thus its overall superposition of suitable habitat hotspots; summarize related research in the past, using of means of ecological modeling, the ability to save endangered forest plants of current and future Northeast overall, each county and nature reserves in the Northeast assessed; Finally, according to this research, proposed the feasibility of the protection and management recommendationsThrough this study found that:endangered wild forest plants are mainly located in the eastern, northeastern, northern region, the future of the whole area of suitable habitat as the climate changes will be an upward trend, the overall ability to protect the northeast China would not fall, but under the influence of global climate change, the overall suitable habitat hotspots shift will occur, increasing the difficulty of the protection, preservation capabilities of nature reserve in northeast China’s overall current or future either have not reached the northeastern region capacity retention requirements, therefore, in order to better protect endangered forest plants, appropriate management and protection measures have been imperative, for example:the protection ability of the region corresponding in situ conservation, protection of its suitable habitat and ecological system, indeed endangered species survived. This study not only provides a more systematic theoretical basis for endangered wild forest plants in the northeast region, but also provides a reference for the different species of other regions to protect, has a strong practical value.
