Estrogen receptor (estrogen receptors,ER) belonging to a member of the steroid receptor superfamily, is divided into two categories:the classic nuclear receptor and the membrane receptors. Estrogen receptors (estrogen receptor a,ERa) as ligand-dependent activation of transcription factors of the nuclear receptor family, the activation of the classical pathway is associated with estrogen binding to the target gene directly upstream of the estrogen receptor response element (ERE), thereby inducing transcription of target genes involved in cell proliferation and differentiation of the target. Such receptors with a variety of diseases, including breast cancer, endometrial cancer, cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis,Alzheimer’s disease and other diseases, outcome and prognosis. In this thesis, bioinformatics methods, the study sequence ERa Screening and download physicochemical properties of the amino acid sequence, structure, function and evolution of the relationship between the system for forecasting and analysis; in order for the future conduct of estrogen receptor-related research a theoretical basis. Results:Era in diffrent species have high homology;human Era is a stable, Hydrophilic protein; it contains no signal peptide; it does not contain transmembrane domain; it has phosphatase sites and may be phosphorylated by protein kinase;a-helical is the main secondary structural elements of its secondary structure.
