Marine flexible riser is consisted of metal layers and polymer layers with highstrength in the style of bonded or unboned. Compared with traditional metal pipes,flexible riser is easy to be installed, easy to lay, the advantages of flexible alsoincludes corrosion resistant, so widely used in offshore oil exploration, the safety andreliability of the pipeline cannot be ignored. To maintain the crude oil miningproductivity and avoid environmental disaster, an in-depth understanding on flexibleriser performance under dynamic load response and quantify the structural damage isvery necessary. In this paper, to study the safety and reliability of flexible riser basedon full-scale fatigue test under the influence of risk factors, it can develop pipelinerisk control measures, reducing the riser security risks, enhance the safety andreliability of the riser.In consideration of the marine environment load to affects the flexible riser inlong-term, the safety of the marine flexible riser is lack of security. In this paper,through research and design of flexible riser fatigue test to know the dynamicresponse performance of the riser under actual sea state, thus developed to analysisand verification of the full-scale fatigue test of Marine flexible riser, with emphasis onthe safety reliability assessment process. Safety reliability assessment processincludes early specific sea state data collection, according to the data conversion oftest conditions, sea conditions riser fatigue test, the test data analysis, the fatigue lifecalculation and forecasting, pipeline safety reliability feedback, improvementmeasures, the actual application data feedback. Focuses on design and development ofthe full-scale fatigue test, the fatigue life calculation method and combined withnumerical simulation software ansys workbench to carry on the numerical simulation;On the basis of the research on fatigue life to develop flexible riser marine safetyreliability assessment process and formulate corresponding measures according to theresults of the assessment; Tester system is built, the research can provide reference foractual full-scale fatigue test.
