High school education as an advanced stage of basic education, is the interface between basic education and higher education, which plays a connecting role in the education sys-tem. Currently, high school enrollment rate increased significantly, especially the number of students reduced who are unable to further their studies due to poverty. Moreover, teachers continue to strengthen. According to career statistics report,the number of full-time high school teachers continue to increase, particularly through the vigorous implementation of the "backbone teacher training program" and "the quality of teachers enhance project", and ef-fectively improve the comprehensive ability of teachers and educational research educational reform their own requirements, teacher professional requirements, the requirements of educa-tional innovation. Therefore, the study of which will help to improve the quality of education, improve the level of education. In this paper, we use SAS and SPSS software and multivariate statistical methods to analyze Yanbian high school education. This paper is divided into three parts.The first part describes the situation of the educational level of ethnic characteristics of Yanbian, and analyzes Yanbian education, with the use of this,we analyze level of education with multivariate statistical analysis methods. The second part introduces some theoretical knowledge of multivariate statistical analysis, principal component analysis and the factor analysis, including the basic principle of each analytical method, the basic steps for each ana-lytical method. The last part is the main part, the first,we use principal component analysis to analyze the level of education among eight regions of Yanbian and gives a composite score based on scientific rankings and objectively reflect the characteristics of cities and counties education. Then using factor analysis method to analyze the factors that affecting the level of education of Yanbian. Finally,we propose the available references for the future development of education, such as advocating education development model about "quality of education+ethnic characteristics+reform and innovation ";Creating a communication system with key universities,and docking the engineering colleges like "211"、"985" to research the admission policies and dynamics of high school;increasing the national bilingual teacher training and the input of ethnic characteristic education.
