With the rapid economic development of Liuzhou, Land utilization has changed dramatically in urban circle from2000to2010, which often leads to changes in LULC and a profound impact on the urban landscape pattern and ecosystem service functions. Research on landscape pattern and ecosystem service functions based on LULC can provide a scientific basis for ecological construction and regional sustainable development.The thesis tries to classify the landscape in the first decade of21th century (from2000to2010) by analyzing landscape pattern applying remote sensing technology. Based on the research, we proceed quantitative calculation on value of ecosystem service, which caused by changes of landscape pattern ecosystem, by using the method of quantity of value. The main contents and conclusions are as follows:(1) Landscape Classification. Classify Liuzhou landscape pattern by the following means:A1:50000topographic map, DEM (Digital Elevation Model) data, LandSat7ETM plus image date in2000and2010, CART decision tree by using remote-sensing image. The result can be served to the basis of researching landscape pattern and ecological system service value.(2) Dynamic analysis of landscape pattern (from2000-2010) showed that:the area in descending order is woodland, farmland, construction land, water, and development land. Woodland makes a significant contribution to the entirely landscape, which is helpful in maintaining ecosystem security and stability and providing a better ecological barrier for Liuzhou. The entire landscape of Liuzhou showed a great diversity, with balanced distribution of each individual landscape size, which showed the structure of landscape is more complex and tended to an optimize direction in the future.(3) Studying on the change of ecosystem services value. The total value and individual service value of ecosystem service in Liuzhou was calculated through the evaluation formula proposed by Costanza. And then analyze the reasons for their changes and trends.(4) From the perspective of ecosystem services value construction, the ecosystem services value of woodland, agriculture land the water were the main part, taking up more than99%in the total value. The value of ecosystem services slowly ascended with an average annual growth rate at0.68%during the study period. Seen from the function of ecosystem services value, the accumulated contribution of water conservation, soil formation and protection, and waste disposal reached from47.71%to49.11%, while raw materials and food production contributed respectively with a figure no more than8.15%and3.25%. To sum up, the service function of ecosystem services value is more important than the production function in Liuzhou.
