| Since1980s’ mid anaphase, China ATM industry has already accessed to a fastdeveloping maturation period. The quantity and the trading volume of ATM hasincreased by a wide margin, which has never been seen ever. ATM has been graduallyrelated to human daily life intimately. For commercial bank, a scientific and logicalATM layout map provides not only high-performance service but also directly goodeconomic results. It is difficult to arrange ATM, accounting for all kinds of factorssuch as geography, environment, society and economy. Therefore how to arrange ATMhas become a hot topic all over the world. With the development of GIS technology,the research about the problem of commercial bank ATM arrangement has made a newbreakthrough. Especially, all kinds of layout problems can be solved through thespatial analysis function of GIS.This paper has elaborated the conceptual framework, the basic function, theapplication domain, and the relative technique of GIS. Considering the influencingfactors of the commercial bank ATM layout as a breakthrough point, the dissertationhas designed a whole complete method to solve the problem of site selection. A finalcommercial bank ATM layout map of some district (the west of xiangjiang river inChangsha) has been generated from ArcGIS10.1, which has combined the features ofVoronoi Map with the spatial analysis of some vector-graphs that has come from someways. Comparing the actual ATM layout map with the experimental result, therationality of this method has been checked undoubtedly.By studying the previous literature, this paper points out that the commercialbank should analyze the affected factors of the ATM layout among the environment,the geography, the market and the economics costs. Considering the availability of thedata, the spatial analysis function of GIS can be used to achieve the scientificalness,the simplicity and the intuitive visualization of the ATM layout, thus to assist theATM layout decision of the commercial bank staff. |
