The city is a center of the political, economic, cultural, population within a certainarea. Once suffering a disaster, it is bound to cause great losses. And urban green spacesystem is the alive infrastructure of the city, which is the important carrier ofimproving and maintaining city ecological security. Especially when the emergencydisasters occur, the urban green space system can be an important place for the urbanpopulation emergency actions, evacuations or temporary relocation. Therefore, greenspace emergency should be taken into account when the city is planning green space.With the full development of Xuzhou urban green space, the total green space hasbeen greatly improved, how to improve the emergency level of urban residents andimprove urban public green space services, how to improve urban public green spaceof emergency planning and strengthen the improvement of urban public green spaceintegrated features. Urban green space planning is major topics of pressing.This study is based on public green space distribution pattern evaluation indexsystem, analyses the spatial distribution of urban population in Xuzhou city by GISspatial analysis methods, and then gains population density distribution by gridinterpolation Thiessen polygon. At the same time, analyses the public green spacebuffer based on service area radius classification. then, analyses the population densityand buffer of urban green space by GIS overlay analysis. Finally, we analysesevaluation of emergency function of Xuzhou city public green space system planning.Eventually, the study provides the basis for establishing comprehensive public greenspace system of emergency. At the same time, the study applies ArcGIS Enginecomponent development techniques, uses the service capability assessment andemergency planning as a basic means, and takes database, inquiry, management,expression as one, thereby, it realizes graphic-attributes integration, which can meet thebasic needs of the emergency. This article is summarized as follows:1.Building the appropriate geographic databases that contain spatial data and attribute data based on the vegetation information extracted from remote sensing image, roadtraffic network and vector.data.2.Analysing the density distribution of grid interpolation thiessen polygon.Use thesimulation of GIS-based spatial distribution and simulation of spatial distribution ofpopulation with grid interpolation of Thiessen polygon density distribution,So morein-depth studies of urban public green space accessibility and coverage analysis.3.Realizing an information system of public green space’s emergency response andrescue aid based on ArcGIS Engine component development, This system has somefunctions such as query, analysis, management,strongly maneuverability, also simpleinterface.
