More and more researchers have paid much attention to the magnetorheologicalelastomer at home and abroad, and they mainly focus on the preparation and mechanicalproperties testing. At the same time, there are a large number of research results in themechanical behavior of the electromagnetic solid structure under the multi-field coupling,and the researchers mainly focus on the members which made of copper, iron, aluminumand other metal materials. However, the study on magnetorheological elastomer inmagnetic field is rare. In this paper, magnetorheological elastomer specimen in thecoupling field will be introduced. And the mechanical properties of stress and straindistribution and dynamic stability under mechanical load and the coupling of the magneticfield were investigated.Based on the theory of electromagnetic field, the expression of electro-dynamicequations, electromagnetic force were obtained. And the magnetorheological elastomerplate basic equations in the mechanical field and the magnetic field were derived.Newmark algorithm and discrete orthogonal methods were employed to get the standardtypes.As numerical examples for the magnetorheological elastomer plate in the changingmagnetic field. The formulation for the stress and deformation of the magnetorheologicalelastomer plate in different magnetic field parameters were analyzed. Based on the resultof electro-dynamic equations, motion equations, the expression of magneto-elasticdynamic stability equation of the magnetorheological elastomer plate was obtained. And itwas written as the standard form of Mathieu equation.As numerical examples for the dynamic stability of a magnetorheological elastomersplate which the four sides simply supported boundary conditions, dynamic stability statediagram and the relation curves between critical load and other physical parameters wereobtained by using Matlab. The influence of magnetic induction intensity, thickness of theplate, volume fraction and length of the plate on the dynamic characteristics of themagnetorheological elastomer plate were investigated.
