Accompanied with the roadway drivaged, mine surveyors need to do undergroundsurvey work constantly in the process of coal mining. In the process, it will produce largeamounts of data and information, such as the original surveying data and underground controlpoints results and so on. At the same time, it also needs to constantly update the miningengineering plan and surface-underground contrast plan, etc. It is necessary to build the MineSurvey Geographical Information System. For one thing, it’s quite convenience forprofessional to manage, query, calculate and analyze the mine surveying results by usingcomputers. For another, it also can reduce the intensity of daily work, and improve theprecision and efficiency.Combining with the situation of coal mines survey work in our country and basing onthe reading of a large number of domestic and foreign literatures, I analyzed and researched onthe mine surveyors’ requirements for the system carefully, and designed the Mine SurveyGeographical Information System. The function modules of the system mainly includes themanagement of surveying original data and results data, the processing of surveying data, thebasic GIS service function, and the surveying common toolkit, etc. Detailed functions are asfollows: Firstly, the management of surveying original data and results data contains themanagement of traverse, leveling and gyro directional survey data; Secondly, the processing ofsurveying data contains the check and calculation of traverse and leveling data, and theadjustment calculation of survey data; Thirdly, the management of results data includes themanagement of coordinate data and the graph of traverse points distribution of survey results;Fourthly, the basic GIS service function contains the automatic generation of roadway, theestimation of through error and the calculation data of construction lofting realized in agraphical way, the plotting and editing of mine graph, attribute query and spatial analysis, andthe production of thematic map, and so on.The requirements analysis, overall design and detailed design are based on the systemintegration demand of Wang village coal mine and the second coal mine, Chenghe coal mining co., LTD in Shanxi. Using unified modeling language object-oriented to specify modelingdescription of requirement analysis and design stages. Using ESRI Company’s geographicspatial database engine to store spatial and non-spatial data, using C#language offered byMicrosoft Visual Studio2010development environment and Arc Engine componenttechnology offered by ESRI Company to develop the system, and good result is achieved.
