This article comes from the State Seismological Bureau, 863 project“Mineral Pyroelectricity earthquake prediction.”National Sci-Tech Support Plan (2008BAC35B05). The thermoelectric effect of natural mineral is applied to geological prospecting by mineralogy workers mainly because they can reveal the causes of mineral formations. at the present time, there are two explanation for the genetic model of telluric current anomaly: piezoelectric effect and percolation electric field. By revelation of semiconductor mineral thermoelectric phenomenon, and puts forward the new model of telluric current anomaly: thermoelectric mode. In this project I mainly responsible for various data detection of mineral thermoelectricity, and the detected data processing, to prove the new theory.In this project,my thesis main content: according to the project needs, the overall mineral data acquisition system is designed. The system is consists of USB interface circuit , temperature sensor components ,single-chip microcomputer control unit, the main data acquisition unit, data storage unit and peripheral expansion circuit. And targeted tests were carried out to verify the correctness of the system.After reasonable screening, use of mineral data acquisition system, activation temperature from 5℃to 80℃,detected many kinds of common semiconductor minerals such as arsonopyrite , galena, pyrite, chalcopyrite, and tin stone. Analyzed the data , consolidated its thermoelectric coefficient and average fluctuate, conductive condition and each mineral particles with temperature increase overall thermoelectric coefficient of variation trend. Use professional software for data processing, analyzed both commonness and characteristics of the assessment of different mineral thermoelectricity .Based on the MATLAB single hidden layer BP network forecasting methods , reasonable predicted of thermoelectric data .Puts forward the calculating formula of surface in thermoelectric power electrical measurement method. Based on the test data, each parameter in the formula of the surface is analysis and simulated. Then indicates that widespread natural semiconductor mineral is most likely one of the important factors of earth electric field abnormal change.Through testing and analysis of many mineral thermoelectric data, unifies the related geological knowledge, proof of the earthquake hot field change of mineral electric field has great influence on the field , first proposed that mineral thermoelectric characteristic is one of the important factors of electricity anomalies caused minerals. thermoelectric characteristics should be focused in earthquake prediction.
