E-commerce is changing every aspect of our lives and business operation. It is proved that it is significant that the application of E-commerce will benefit the national economy and social information, enhance international business competition and establish all-round well-being society. In the current condition, it is necessary to explain the E-commerce theory more comprehensively and provide more empirical tests to realize the production improvement brought by E-commerce and define clearly the future trend of E-commerce.The professional E-commerce studies can be defined into three kinds. The first one is frame study. It mainly introduces the development condition of E-commerce, portray the E-commerce' prospect and explore its operation principle. The most influencing study is Kalakota-Whinston model. The second one is role study. It mainly analyzes the economic base of E-commerce, and the reconstruction of business organization operation management of E-commerce.The third one is the research on the application of flowing form, which mainly studies on solving projects of E-commerce in concrete application.The study of E-commerce' performance developed to some extent, which focused on two aspects in study method. One is direct revelation using historical data to analyze the contrast and trend. The other is to illuminate E-commerce with examples. From the study content, it mainly contains information performance analysis, development condition of web and web economy, effect analysis and electrical government affair performance analysis.Besides, traditional new institutional economics theory considers that E-commerce noticeably reduces communication cost and information cost of in-house and supply chain, improves operational efficiency of enterprise. Market competition theory thinks that E-commerce changes the competition way of principal parties in the market, which in one way helps to improve efficiency, and in the other way creates deep influence to the market structure.The above theory and empirical study aiming at macroeconomic performance is a little, and most research is based on foreign market condition.
