Research On Urban Competitiveness Of Main Cities In Middle China

With the development of economic globalization and integration of regional economics, the international competition among country , area , different industries is fiercely more and more , and be shown as the competition between the cities and the city group, so the status of city in the country and regional economy is more and more important. The research about urban competitiveness of main cities in middle china aimed at present development of every city, appraisal superiority, insufficient and development potentiality correctly, to construction the urban development model of middle cities in order to promoting the urban competitiveness of middle, help the middle cities melting in the integration of regional economics and participate in the international competition of today.This article combines international and domestic realistic backgrounds, define the urgency of promoting urban competitiveness, united the theoretical research and real example, set up the urban competitiveness evaluation index system and the factor analysis mathematic model. Under the results of middle cities quantitative analysis that base on the SPSS13.0 counting software, we put up the way to promoting the urban competitiveness of the middle cities, constructing the development model of the middle cites.Results state that the first city of every city groups in the middle such as Wuhan, ChangSha, Zhengzhou have low first place degree, the competitive of HeFei, NanChang, TaYuan, LuoYang lies in the second or third place in each city groups, other cities in each city groups have their development advantages and insufficients. City groups in the middle have stronger competitiveness in the middle part, be fitted to as distributing center of regional resource and energy, highlands of wealth production and radiation, to driving the development of the middle and peripheral area.
