Research On The Reciprocal Relations Between Financial Structure And Economic Growth Of Guangdong Province

The theory of modern financial development considers finance as the core of modern market economy. Financial development constitutes the major aspect of modern economy and the essence of financial development is the optimization of financial structure. Based on the financial deepening theory and from the angle of regional finance theory, this paper has made a study on the reciprocal relation between financial structure and economic growth of Guangdong province. The relation between regional financial structure and regional economic development is embodied in two aspects: on one hand, regional financial development promotes the growth of economic grosses. The region that has a high level of financial development will certainly attract more investments. Therefore its speed of economic growth will be faster. On the other hand, the optimization of regional industrial structure also reflects regional economic development. With the upgrading of regional industrial structure, regional economic development requires financial services of higher levels. Financial structure, therefore, has to make the corresponding adjustment along with the changes of industrial structure.The main content of this paper is divided into five chapters. After the preface, Chapter One is the summary of major related theories, including financial structure theory, relations between financial structure and economic growth and regional finance theory.
