With the rapid development of China's economy and foreign trade, Sino-EU trade relationship gets closer and closer, trade volume between China and EU countries increases greatly. But EU's anti-dumping issue against China has not been improved much yet, EU has never loosed its antidumping measures against China, even after China's entry into WTO, and to some extent, this problem becomes worse than before. The antidumping issue has become a main obstacle to the economic and trade relationship between China and EU countries. It's imperative that China avoid and cope with antidumping from EU effectively. As a primary trade block, EU plays an important role in the global economy, and EU has become the most important trade partner of China, studying antidumping from EU means a lot to China.This paper studies every aspect of EU's antidumping to China in detail. It starts with the EU's antidumping history against China, analyzes different influencing factors for the antidumping issue. The author also applies econometric tool to examine the relationship between economic variables and volume of EU's antidumping cases against China. Apart from traditional studying method, this paper is characterized by introducing some special variables frequently used by western scholars, including FDI, Exchange Rate and Industrial Concentration.To carry out the research questions and fulfill the aim of the paper, a qualitative and quantitative method has been chosen in order to interpret and understand the factors that effect EU's antidumping against China. A economic model is setup to measure the explanatory extent of some variables to EU's antidumping cases again China. The model shows that China's export to EU countries, exchange rate of RMB against US dollars, and FDI have positive effect to EU's antidumping against China, among which impact from exchange rate is the most significant. At the end of this paper, some count-measures are given to prevent China from being accused fordumping, some useful tips are also proposed to deal with the antidumping from EU once a antidumping measure is inevitable.This study is based mainly on secondary sources including literature, official documents such as publications from the EU, articles and material from newspapers/internet in the form of document analysis, literature review and existing statistics research. The method of case study is also applied to this study for examining EU's discriminatory practice against China in the field of antidumping and providing insights and illumination.
