At present, the integration of urban and rural areas led by the government is a significant and deep-going social change. It not only involves the development and space integration of urban and rural areas, the transformation of economy, the change of population, resources and environment, but also causes various aspects of social life to change. Among all the aspects, the most important one is the transformation from rural community structure into urban community structure, from rural life style into urban life style, from farmers into urban residents. In present high-speed process of most cities' extension, most land-expropriated farmers in fringe areas have become "city inhabitants " within the range of system, but simply a certificate of identification cannot solve the problems relative to citizenized land-expropriated farmers. The process of citizenization for land-expropriated farmers is actually a process of social change in many respects such as life style, concepts of value, criteria of conduct, interpersonal relation, and social structure, community organizations, social activities. Above all, the process of land-expropriated farmers' citizenization is also a process of continuing socialization.Based on the survey of current situation of land-expropriated farmers' continuing socialization in urbanization process (taking Chengdu as an example), this thesis re-scrutinizes the problems relative to land-expropriated farmers' continuing socialization (citizenization) from sociological perspective.
