Research On Enterprise Modeling In The Process Of Manufacturing Information Actualization

With the development of the information technology and internet technique, the world market today has transformed gradually from the traditional relatively steady one to a dynamic one.The competitions enterprises faced are becoming more and more international and incandesce. After China enter into the World Trade Organization, all kinds of international trade policies have been meeting with the international step by step, the home market is also taking steps to open up. Enterprises in China gradually come out from the swaddle of nation policy to take part in the competition all by themselves. If the enterprises want to live, especially if they want to be longeval, the only way to be strong is to put information technology into practice to enhance their core competitive power.The work of information actualizing is a hugely systematic project, within the process, there are many factors which influence the actualization mode: continuity of the manufacture process, manufacture organization style, enterprise size, the life cycle stage in which the enterprise stay, organization structure, etc. These factors make the information actualization be complex, systematic and long-period. In order to actualize information successfully, there must be advanced and practical methodology and tool set besides the operator's good theoretics, technique and the rich implementing experience. The enterprise model(EM) just can do these, whose function runs through the whole process of the information actualization, guiding the enterprise from the present one to a future one.The main researches have been done can be summarized as follows:1. Based on the research of enterprise modeling method and XML, an enterprise modeling technique based on XML is put forward, and the feasibility is demonstrated, what's more, the method and rules of describing the enterprise models with XML are given out combining with EDEF. Translating the graphic enterprise model draw by IDEF into XML documents can provide technical support to internet transmission and data sharing. Another important function is to let the computer understand the enterprise model and the XML documents can be editedoptionally through application procedures.2. Based on the research of enterprise reference model (ERM) and enterprise sorting method,a classification model of enterprises is founded. A method to control the granularity of the ERM is put forward with the model, which is easy to be understood and used. This model is used to classify the manufacturing corporations, and then one set of ERM is built from several sets of EM: scattered manufacturing, single piece/small batch and organized by order.3. The mode of manufacturing information actualization and the factors are analyzed. Finally, the use of the EM in the process of information actualization, enterprise diagnoses and optimization are discussed.
