Job Characteristics is job incumbent's evaluation of the contents of his or her jobs. Job Self-efficacy is one's self-assessment of the ability to perform specific tasks required bu his or her jobs. This paper takes the enterprise employees as research object to discover the job characteristics' influence upon the job self-efficacy level of employees. It can help the managers to design proper job contents which can promote the employees' job self-efficacy.The Job Disgnostic Survey is used to measure the job characteristicsof employees.it consists of 5 factors: Skill Variety, Task Identity, Task Significance, Autonomy and feedback. A Job Self-efficacy scale is established to measure employee's job self-efficacy through six factors: Communication and Cooperation, Facing with Setbacks, Dealing with Unexpected Problems, Knowledge and Skills, Cognition and Learn, and Creativity.The study conducts correlation analysis and regression analysis, the research data are collected through surveys which are administered to 335 low level employees in 7 corporations in Dalian. The results show how different job characteristic factors influenced different job self-efficacy levels as follows: "Task Identity" can make positive influence on the employees' self-efficacy levels of "Knowledge and Skills","Cognition and Learn", and "Creativity";"Task Significance" can make positive influence on employees' self-efficacy levels of "Communication and Cooperation";"Skill Variety" can make positive influence on employees' self-efficacy levels of "Facing with Setbacks", "Dealing with Unexpected Problems", "Knowledge and Skills", "Cognition and Learn" and "Creativity";"Autonomy" can make positive influence on employees' self-efficacy levels of "Communication and Cooperation","Facing with Setbacks", "Dealing with Unexpected Problems", , "Cognition and Learn" and "Creativity".
