The Pattern Of High-Tech Industrialization In Petroleum Enterprises

With the development of globalization, the integration of markets and the coming of high-tech era, Chinese petroleum industry is confronted with great challenges. Because of the characteristic of technology-intensive, petroleum industry depends largely, almost entirely, on the development of high-tech industrialization. Petroleum enterprises in western countries have been merging and reorganizing to fasten the process of high-tech development and strengthen their power in international market for many years. With great changes in international layout of petroleum industry, the international competition is getting more and more severe. Accelerating the process of high-tech industrialization as well as advancing the all-round ability is the determinant for Chinese petroleum enterprises to survive and have a foot in the international market.Chinese petroleum industry has basically formed a research and development system, thanks to the collective work and effort of several generations, with part of the leading technology top the counterparts in the world. However, it is left far behind in the ability and process of high-tech industrialization. Chinese petroleum enterprises should take full advantage of the WTO entry to heighten their core abilities in competition and turn into world powers through perfecting their technology innovation system, integrating technological resources, forming a favorable pattern of industrialization, and realizing the aims of high-tech industrialization.This thesis begins with common theories of high-tech industrialization, and through the comparative analysis of Chinese and western petroleum enterprises in the patterns of high-tech industrialization summarizes few factors which hinder the development of high-tech industrialization of Chinese enterprises. Based on the above, the thesis brings out "the enterprises-oriented collaboration among government, university, industry and researcher", together with the elements, patterns, and operational mechanism of high-tech industrialization which particularly fit Chinese petroleum enterprises. In the last part, suggestions of optimizing the high-tech industrialization pattern in a certain Oilfield are put forward with its operational mechanism and guarantee measures later discussed.
