The necessity of reengineering for key process is demonstrated andreengineering of transaction dealing for different place and delivery operationof China Post is researched by applying Information Technology to cast offmess and enhance the power of competition. The analytical method ofcomparison, combination of static state and developments and combination ofqualitative analysis and quantitative analysis is adopted.Firstly, the conceptions of Information Technology and BPR areexpatiated. The process of applying IT in organization and its influence isintroduced. The background, content and measure for carrying into executionof BPR is analyzed. The relationship of affecting each other between IT andBPR is concluded.Secondly, the status of China Post is analyzed both before and after itseparated from China telecom. The influence of macro situation on post and thefive factors of competition of it are analyzed. The opportunity and challenge ofChina Post is expatiated, and Business Process Reengineering applyingInformation Technology is put forward to improve the satisfaction of customer.Thirdly, the process of transaction dealing for different place and deliveryoperation of China Post is chosen and described as the key process accordingthe three principles. The integration management and parallel conformity basedon shared information is realized in maximum degree in virtue of the newest IT.Two examples are illustrated to analyze the reengineering of two key processes.Finally, the success guarantee and purpose expectation of BPR in ChinaPost is concluded.
