After the reforms and open up, Chinese automobile industry has made great progress. As a result, the automobile market becomes booming nowadays. However, as more and more new players enter the industry, competition becomes more and more severe in the automobile industry, and unit profit declines. The profit ratio of unit car in China decreases rapidly from 9.11% in 2003 to 6.85% in 2004 and 4% in 2005, which is lower than average level of the other manufacturing with 4.46%~[1]. To reduce the cost has become the key issue. As one of the major cost, logistics cost accounts for a big portion in the automobile cost. Compared with 9% in European and 5% in Japan, the ratio of logistics account for total sale cost is 15% in Chinese automobile industry~[2]. So reducing the logistics cost has much significance in the automobile manufacturer's operation and development. In logistics industry, automobile logistics is regarded as the most complicated business, which has the four major modules (supply, production, distribution and reverse) of the automobile logistics. Supply logistics of automobile parts, with large amount of suppliers and automobile parts, is hard to be well controlled and implemented, so how to reduce the cost and promote the level of service. This has become an important concern of the automobile industry.After a brief introduction of the development of Chinese automobile industry in recent years, this paper analyzes the operation model of current automobile parts supply, as well as its process, features and problems. Based on literature review and research, this paper comes up with a new automobile parts supply model - integrated supply of automobile part, and indicates the necessity and feasibility. The paper also gives a detailed design for its process and information system structure.Based on the analysis on the new model's advantage and its implication difficulty, this paper adopts the qualitative and quantitative method, designs a model and its algorithm to solve the vehicles routing problem. At the last part, a software combined the mathematic software (Lingo, Evolver) with VBA designed interface is designed for solving this problem. Then using the data from a big Chinese automobile manufacturer, a simulation has tested the maneuverability and practicability of the integrated supply logistics of automobile parts.Wish the research results of this paper could have some consulting value for reducing the logistics costs of the supply of automobile part, improving service quality and the competitiveness of the automobile manufacturers. |
