Research On The Transition Tactics From Traditional Storage And Transport Enterprise To 3PL Enterprises

Along with the developing of the economic globalization, the increasing ofsocial division of labor and the increasing in Chinese national economy, accompanywith the market competition gradually vigorous, the demand for the individuationservice increase continuously, and the consciousness of consumer on time, benefit,quality, competition and so on strengthen continuously. The traditional storage andtransport enterprise is faced more rigorous survival crisis. It is just the theme of thispaper that how the traditional storage and transport enterprise be transformed to 3PLenterprise in order to compete in these changes and competitions.At first, I introduce some concepts and theories about logistics, such as modernlogistics, third-party logistics and so on. After that I connect the present condition ofGuangzhou LongSheng logistics Co. Ltd, analyze the inside and outsideenvironments which affect its development. The third I point out that transformationto 3PL enterprise is the development direction of the company. And I research thestrategies and tactics for the company transforms to 3PL enterprise at last.Basing on the theories analysis and combining with the enterprise's data, thispaper analyzes market characteristic, industry development and company condition,uses EFE matrix, IFE matrix, SWOT matrix and QSPM matrix to put forward a resultthat the company should convert to modern 3PL enterprise, and put the strategy intopractice which include scale strategy, serves strategy, network strategy, informationstrategy and HR strategy, and complete the company's conversion by adjustingorganization structure, reorganizing business process, innovating service management,expanding logistics network and constructing information system and training person.Through the above analyses and arguments in this thesis, I hope offer someoperability suggestions to medium-sized and mini-type storage and transportenterprises.
