Research On Enterprise Business Strategy Choosing Based On Lifecycle Of Enterprise And Industry

With the development of globalization and information technology, the competition among enterprises becomes more and more furious. Many enterprises can't make progress because of their failure in adapting to various changes of internal condition and external environment. Facing the furious competition coming with information economy, network economy and knowledge economy, how to choose the right business strategy based on environment characteristic has become more and more important.Enterprise business strategy choosing is affected by enterprise lifecycle and industry lifecycle. This paper is established in three basic theories including business strategy theory, enterprise lifecycle theory and industry lifecycle theory, and focus on looking for the business strategy adapted to the enterprise, which is matched with the enterprise lifecycle and industry lifecycle.This paper includes four parts:Firstly, theory reviews about enterprise business strategy. It discusses the evolutionary process of enterprise business strategy and how to choose the business strategy according to different industry evolutionary stage, different scale and different competition status.Secondly, how to choose enterprise business strategy according to its lifecycle. It analyzes the characteristic in different enterprise lifecycle stage and how to choose business strategy accordingly.Thirdly, how to choose enterprise business strategy according to its industry lifecycle. First of all, it reviews the industry lifecycle theory and discusses the characteristic in different lifecycle stage. Then it discusses which business strategy should be chosen in different industry lifecycle stage in order to elude risk and make use of opportunity.Finally, taking both enterprise lifecycle and industry lifecycle into consideration, it discusses how to choose business strategy. This part combines enterprise lifecycle with industry lifecycle and discusses how to choose right competition strategy accordingly.In conclusion, based on many research fruit, this paper tries to study the enterprise business strategy from dynamic aspect and give importance to the internal and external factors. It is expected to offer a new clue for enterprise to choose competition strategy.
