Study On The Time-based Logistics Distributing Performance Of Enterprises

In new economic era, enterprise' s competitive advantage has already been changed from cost competition to time-based competition. The profit space gained by reducing supplies consumption and economizing labor is more and more little, and modern physics distribution has become to the third source which creates profits by improving operation efficiency, lowering cost and increasing response speed for customer's demand as much as possible. Logistics distribution has already caused extensive concern of each facet, but the understanding about distribution has still stayed to the traditional functions such as the stock, transportation, etc. Enterprises are less likely to hold operation performance from the systematic angle of the distribution resources integration. Academia research about logistics distribution performance mainly concentrates on appraisal, include selecting evaluation index and method. There are few scholars to analysis and accurate logistics distribution performance in term of responding customer's demand quickly. Regard improving enterprise's fast reaction ability and competitive power as original intention, this paper researches how to respond customer's demand quickly. First , it explains the logistics distribution theory,including definition, model and the theoretical foundation. On this basis of carrying on the discussion about the current situation,it points out that logistics distribution has become new core competitiveness. Proceed from systematic angle, logistics distribution is divided into four works: order-deal, stock, transportation, customer service. Regarding cost, time, customer satisfaction as performance factor, it probes into how distribution performance is produced by each work. Meanwhile, through analyzing logistics distribution performance function, it sets up the performance model for time-based enterprise's logistics distribution. Finally, it puts forward application tactics about this performance model and verifies model by combining the example of Bai Sha Logistics Co.
