The object of this thesis' research is establishing the developing strategy of Sichuan Shuyu Petroleum Construction Installation Limited Liability Company. Combined with this company' basic conditions, this thesis summarizes the theories of the profession competition, the enterprise competition strategy and the enterprise Core competencies, then analyzes the exterior conditions including the macroscopical environment, the trade environment and the status of nature resource, and the internal condition of the company, Investigated the orientation ability of the outward environment of the enterprise with the EFE evaluation matrix, analyzed the competition ability of the enterprise comparing the rival using the CPM competition matrix, researched the company' advantage of the profession competitive with the inner evaluating matrix of IFE, analyzed the superiority and the inferior, the opportunity and the challenge of the company using SWOT method, this thesis made the strategic direction of the company: In the petroleum inner construction market in Sichuan and Chongqing , the company will practice strategy of the market extension and market defending; in the other market, the company will adopt the strategy of market permeating. On this above, the company' aim, fixed position and the company targets are established. The aim of the company is "specialization, high level, efficiently benefit, developing continuous and moderating" The fixed position of the company is "after about 3 or 5 years, the Shuyu Company will dominant both the industry and civilian construction; the company will be good in the drilling project, the large earthwork construction, the road and bridge construction, and the treatment of the geographical disaster; it will make the steel structure, decorative material, fire protection and the pipeline construction as its supplement; it will become the strongest construction company in the petroleum business enterprises in Sichuan and Chongqing." andthen the competition strategy of the company——cost precedence is established.At the end, this thesis elaborate how to train core competing ability of company and keep the competitive advantage of the company.
