According to Organ, the definition of organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) is "individual behavior that is discretionary, not directly or explicitly recognized by the formal reward system, and that in the aggregate promotes the effective functioning of the organization." Among the antecedents of OCB, the researches have focused on the effect of the leadership behavior. Since Burn defines the concept of the transactional leadership and the transfonnational leadership, the researches have pay attention to the relationship between the OCB and the leadership. This paper want to discover the relationship between the leadership and the organizational citizenship behavior, so that it can help the supervisors realize what leadership behavior would inspire the OCB of the employee, and implement effectively leadership to foresee or drive the OCB of the employee to improve the leader efficiency and organizational performance.The OCB scale that is used in this paper is from five dimensions of "Identification with the Company", "Altruism toward Colleagues", "Impersonal Harmony", "Protecting Company Resources", "Conscientiousness", which is explored by Farh, J. L in 1997. And the scale of leadership behavior is modified from the scale that developed Bass and Avolio's Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire, the modified transactional leadership scale is included two dimensions of "Contingent Reward", "Management by Exception" and the modified transformational leadership scale is include three dimensions of "Inspirational Motivation", "Intellectual Stimulation", "Individual Consideration".The research collected 155 effective questionnaires through the employee of the state-owned and the individual-run enterprises. The results are shown as follows:1. There is a differentia between the demographic variables and the OCB of the employee.2. The transformational leadership can more effectively foresee the OCB of the employee than the transactional leadership.3. There is a relationship between the transformational leadership and the OCB of the employee.
