Authorization Configuration And Purchase Management In Management System For Small-Medium Manufacturing Enterprises

The small-medium enterprises face the more and more furious competitive environment. In order to improve their competitive position to survive and develop, the enterprises need to not only enhance their manufacturing technique but also take full advantage of resources to increase the managing and operating capability. In fact, there are many enterprises in the world which succeed in adopting MRP II or ERP system to increase the competitive power and acquire huge economic benefit. However, in China there are few enterprises to deploy the ERP system, and successful case is fewer.In this background, based on the theory of MRP II, according to Chaoyang Automobile Steer Gear Corporation Informatization project, the paper puts forward an Information Management System which fits for the most SMMEs (Small-Medium Manufacturing Enterprise). System functions include BOM management, Material management, Production management, plan management, cost management, and so on.This paper is based on the project of system development and application for Chaoyang Automobile Steering Gear Co. Ltd. Through the quantity of investigation in the factory and problem analyses of SMME' information management, the requirement analysis and the detailed design of the user-authorization configuration and the purchase management in the system are emphasized in the paper. Authorization management is essential point of the whole system, it relates to the user power and system security, and that purchase management is a pivotal problem in the management. In this paper, system function and database structure is designed using UML method and ER method. The user-authorization management module for the whole system and the purchase management that -based on order is designed independently using Microsoft VB.NET as development tool and SQL Server as database server. It realizes a convenient authorization management model based on RBAC and rebuilds the purchasing flow for SMMEs. Moreover, the basic theory and development principle of MRP is introduced in the paper, and the purchase management system the system realizes the basic MRP function.The study on the topic has some theoretical and realistic significance which exploit a methodology of combining the MRP II management concept and the computer technology, which applying to the small manufacturing enterprises. Now the first step has alreadycompleted. The system has been implemented successfully in the company and received the satisfaction of the users.
