The organization structure of defense industry is directly related to both the economic efficiency and safety efficiency of resources in the defense industry, and the pace of the defense modernization. In this thesis, on the basis of some modern economic theories, with practice combined in China's defense industry and the relationship centered on between the organization structure of the defense industry and the efficiency of resources in the defense industry, emphasis is laid on discussing and studying how to adjust and optimize the organization structure of China's defense industry, in an attempt to offer some support and reference for the practice in China's defense industry.In the thesis, before all others, theories about industrial organization structure from home and abroad are summarized. And then, on the basis of the summarization above, emphasis is laid on inquiring into what has gong wrong with the organization structure of China's defense industry, what is the ideal model of the organization structure of China's defense industry, and how to adjust and optimize the organization structure of China's defense industry.The primary factors leading to the malformation of the organization structure of China'defense industry are the serious government-enterprise integration and government-capital's not being separated, and the close administrative relationship between group corporations and their subsidiary enterprises. The other factors are that the R&D and production capability of the same kind or kind alike is too scattered, there are too many production links of one product in the same enterprise, and medium-sized and small enterprises are being edged out.The symbiotic net-organization is the ideal model of the organization structure of China's defense industry. The symbiotic net-organization not only shares the strong points of both enterprises and markets, but also boasts its own features and can produce some distinctive functions, and it can help to raise the efficiency of resources in the defense industry, so it is much more efficient than enterprises or markets. There are two kinds of symbiotic net-organization, namely vertical linkage model dominated by vertical cooperation-competition and horizontal linkage model dominated by horizontal competition-cooperation.In the adjustment and optimization, we should adjust the ownership structure, push forward the separation of both government-enterprise and government-capital, standardize government's conducts, divide or merge enterprise capabilities according to the demands of scale-economy and specialized production, push ahead with opening the defense industry market, try hard to help medium-sized and small enterprises grow, devote more attention to the building of information net-platform.
