The Comparison Of Developed Countries' Industrialization Path And Enlightenment To China

Industrialization is the booster to realize modernization for all the countries and the locomotive to promote national economy structure unceasingly. The industrialization is often guided by a certain development pattern, the various countries adopt distinct industrialization path because of different background, natural endowment and other conditions.Through more than 200 years development, the developed countries' industrialization has already been in a developed economy period in which the high-tech industry is primarily , namely so-called "post-industrialization society". The industrialization being explored and prompted in China is long and winding, until now the industrialization level is also very low. In the new century, to realize industrialization will still be a arduous historic task in the processes of modernization.This paper base on industrialization theory in development economics , make some analysis ,comparison and summary in detail from the following aspect: the industrialization path taken by English, USA, German and Japan, the industrialization development course in China, the stage that Chinese industrialization in. the factors which restrict Chinese industrialization develop. The British and American pattern depends on the market to promote industrial development spontaneously, which realizes the technology advancement and the transformation of industrial structure in the economy system.The German and Japanese pattern depend on the powerful government intervention and the military force to realize industrialization. Japan takes government as the leading strength, use import substitution and exports guidance strategy to complete the industrialization. Chinese industrialization has experienced the traditional industrialization path and the development phase after taking reform and open policy. We are implementing strategy called " new-type industrialization path" at present, but there are some restrict factors such as resources, environment, the technical innovation, the labor force , imbalance of the region development and others.Although China is different from developed countries in such aspects as culture, resources and institutions, we cannot imitate its development pattern completely, some experience which is worth profiting from has the important enlightenment to Chinese industrialization.
