Entering into the 1990's, it has already had and will go on having important impact on thedevelopment of the world economy that the activities of international capital flow are becomingmore and more active. In the face of the tendency of liberty and vastness, it will have practicaland far-reaching significance to study how to manage and utilize international capital flow moreeffectively. The meaning of managing international capital flow is encyclopedical and profound. Using forreference the former research sufficiently, the author tried her best to search after and was eagerto gain some breakthrough. Based on the macroscopical angle, the thesis uses dialecticmaterialism and historical materialism as instructional ideology, and insists on correlative anddevelopmental viewpoint, to elaborate on the issue from three lays. In the first place, the authorexpatiates on some basic matters concerning international capital flow. That includesconceptions, causations, trends and characteristics of its development, and the benefits and riskscaused by uncontrolled flow of international capital. The first lay establishes theoretical basefor the following discussions. In the next place, the author uses the method of analysis andsynthesis to analyze nine representative cases from developed and developing countries andterritories one by one, and then by summing-up to abstract instructive experiences andinspirations. Through preceding discussions, the last place is well-nigh whole-lengthultimateness. During this lay the author persists in the principle of unifying logic and history aswell as practical and realistic scientism. According to our country's actualities anddevelopments, she analyzes the status quo of capital flow and capital controls and then pointsout impersonally the existent management problems. Finally the author combines aboveanalysis to make six strategic suggestions in order to improve our management of internationalcapital flow reasonably and effectively.
