A Study About Location Problem Of Multiple Distribution Centers Based On Witness

With the development of economics, science and technology, with the decrease in the first and second source of profit, with the step of economic globalization getting faster and faster, logistics becomes more and more important and it takes our attention gradually. It even becomes one of the tokens that stand for the overall strength of the country.As one node of logistics network, distribution center also takes our interests gradually. The location of distribution center has a strategic position in the plan and design of distribution center. And it greatly influences the operation of the distribution center.Based on the basic theories of logistics and distribution center, the thesis states the basic concepts and common models relative to the location of distribution center. Then it proposes the model used in this thesis under the consideration of fixed cost distribution. After this, filtrating the location node using AHP qualitative analysis, so as to exclude the ones of inferior location factors. Then it simulates the model using Witness simulation software and its special optimization function, and gets optimistic configuration from its optimization arithmetic model OPTIMAZER. Finally through a concrete instance, the thesis states how to apply the method to practical problems.
