Anshan New Steel heavy factory is a long history enterprise , this heavy factory is becoming to produce steel 800,000 tons per year, the leading item is the heavy rail which may take up one third portion of train-rail throughout whole China, as a result, nowadays it is a produce basis for high speed rail in our country.This thesis, under instruction of enterprise competition strategy theory, is to research Anshan New Steel heavy factory through several aspects such as strategy analysis, strategy design, strategy choice, strategy implement and etc. The thesis analyzes the inside-outside environment of the factory, concludes the strength and weakness from inside, opportunity and threat from outside as well, while outlines the competitione strategy based on these.The key of strategy, the thesis believes, is able to integrate all resource available in company effectively, expand inside advantage widely, enhance work efficiency, and cultivate the competitive capability, thus may build up the foundation for long term competition. Anshan New Steel heavy factory should fully use the advantages of the technological equipment available, mature craft compared with other competitors, and abundant raw materials resource. Meanwhile, a large scale production is advised to put into practice for reducing cost, implement the cost leading strategy, and balance the relations between relative interest groups, all these steps may offer the customers extra service, furthermore set up a long term competitive strength for company.The thesis also frames the feasible plan for strategy, and the measures for implement. By the measures, like perfecting production management, intensifying marketing, enhancing stuffs' ability, standardizing the management and so on, therefore the strategy is to be completely carried on and company's goal will be achieved.In the thesis, some management means are put into, including the analysis of macroscopic environment, industry analysis, and value chain analysis and strategy choice as well. The result obtained through these means has a realistic significance for some enterprises in the same line who want to make a competition strategy.
