After entering World Tourism Organization (WTO), our country will participate inglobal economy competition according to the need of international market economyand international tradition. It is exigent and important to carry through adjusting ofeconomy framework upgrading of industry and technology advancement. The coalenterprises in china will be faced with a new competition circumstance. Theincreasing need of high-quality energy sources and the using of high-tech willimprove energy sources use efficiency and influence the product and market of coalenterprises and accelerate coal enterprises' profound reform in management systemresource distribution and production element. Therefore it is very necessary for coalenterprises to carry out strategic compensation management and enhance enterprisecompetitiveness. This paper studies the strategic compensation management ofKailuan Clean Coal CO., LTD on the background. The content of strategiccompensation management includes the compensation strategy establishingcompensation system designing and compensation system management. In the firstplace this paper introduces the theory of strategic compensation. And then this paperintroduces how to design the strategic compensation system. On the basis of thetheory and the strategy of Kailuan, this paper brings forward compensation strategyof Kailuan and compensation system design model based on strategy. According tointroducing the present compensation system of Kailuan, this paper analyses theproblems in it and reasons of the problems. In the next place this paper redesigns thecompensation system of Kailuan from the four aspects of basic wage, performancewage, stock option Plan and Employee Stock Ownership Plan. The foundation ofscientific fair effective achievement assessment is the precondition the efficiency ofcompensation system. In the end this paper discusses the problems in the course ofrunning new compensation system of Kailuan.
