Logistics industry is one of the important industries in the 21st century. As to our country, it not only concerns every aspect of the whole national economy but also is a new growth of our country. With the development of the modern science and technology and the growth of the economical global, the form and the management of logistics is being enhanced. 3PL is a new form of modern logistics. It also is the inevitable trend that the socialized division of labor speeds up and the social specialization degree deepens. The concept of 3PL also merely just appeared in the developed countries of European and American ten years ago, and its history is not long. However, along with the rapid development of the economical global, as one kind of competition tool in the enterprise strategy, 3PL will be one major tendency. Through the research of 3PL with its market in current domestic and foreign, this article proposed how to enhance the competitive ability of our third part logistics enterprises.This article firstly analyzed the background of 3PL, also did the present domestic and foreign situations. Secondly, it introduced the environment factor and the weak link which our country third party logistics enterprises located. Then it constructed appraisal system of competitive ability and detailly analyzed benefit of the third party logistics enterprises. Finally, it proposed some strategies for the third party logistics enterprises.This article key point lies in: In the competitive ability appraisal, this article from the management ability, the technical level, the market, the finance and the quality of service constructed the appraisal system by AHP. It analyzed the benefit in the economic principle and the evaluation criteria in the financial aspect. At last it proposed the strategies also from the appraisal system.
