EIQ Analysis On The Work Of Fibre Storehouse In ChangFei Company

The fierce market competition requires more detailed business administration. Many enterprises are paying more and more attention to effective warehouse management and stock controls. In order to satisfy the demand quickly,we need analyze the order information.According to the analysis result, we can adjust the production and the marketing strategy so as to lower the inventory and improve service for the customers. EIQ analysis is an effective and simple method in designing logistics system and warehouse operation management.It takes an important place especially in picking system design and ABC classification of warehouse operation management.In this thesis,the author investigated the present situation of the work of fibre storehouse in ChangFei company and collected the order data of the first half year of 2005.The data was treated by EXCEL.According to the procedure of EIQ analysis,the author emphatically analyzed the order data of June,2005 and pointed out some problems of warehouse management and summarized the ways of how to improve it.After inventory ABC analysis and customer ABC analysis and service improvement were combined,the author got an allotment priority matrix to solve the problem of order sort.Based on the allotment priority matrix and the actual situation in ChangFei company,the author made out the different service standard which included the time of order treatment and transportation period and delivery reliability etc.Meanwhile, the author hopes that this thesis can also give some available suggestions to other company.
