A Research On The Agility Of Construction Enterprise

Facing the continuously changeable and unpredictable commercial environment, it is a focus for the current enterprise management research on how to enhance the reactive and creative capability to win the competition. With the construction market internationalization after China entered WTO, Chinese construction enterprises must compete with the domestic counterworker, and the stronger overseas as well. Therefore, it would be more urgent for Chinese construction enterprises what kind of strategy and method should be adopted to enhance its viability and competition capability. On the condition of the background, this paper puts forward the conception of the Agility of construction enterprise, analyses its basic composition in detail, and proposes the exploitation method of construction enterprise's Agility based on CPMM(Change Proficiency Maturity Model) and CBP(Critical Business Practices) frame. The main content of this paper are as following: Firstly, on the base of analyzing the construction industry and its competition environment character, the system key is proposed for construction enterprise to win the market competition by using the philosophic theory of CIM(Computer Integrated Manufacturing) to organize and manage the enterprise. Secondly, the concept of construction enterprise's Agility is put forward on the base of analyzing the origin of the concept of Agility and the relationship with CIMS. It is composed by interior Agility and exterior Agility, the former is supported by vocational education system and information system. The later is charactered by continuous alignment capability. Thirdly, this paper analyzes three basal elements of the interior Agility and the countermeasures to advance their Agility. It is an effective approach to advance the enterprise's exterior Agility by establishing alliance among construction enterprises to exterior resource. So the conception, the function and the establishing process of the construction enterprise alliance are specified, and the organization support and the technique support are proposed in order to promote the enterprise alliance establishment and running. Finally, it is virtually the conversion capability what the agility can endue the enterprise to catch up with all kinds of opportunity and keep ahead by the management innovation and the technique innovation. Consequently, based on CPMM(Change Proficiency Maturity Model) and CBP(Critical Business Practices) frame, a exploitation method of construction enterprise's Agility is proposed, and its case is discussed subsequently.
