Enterprise group finance company is a kind of non-bank financial institution, which is founded and controlled by enterprise group. It mainly supplies finance business for enterprise group. And it is a decade since Chinese enterprise group finance companies came into being, which has a growing influence upon us, yet so far the study of it remains limited. The lack of theoretical study is affecting the healthy growth of our enterprise group finance companies.In this thesis, the author takes Wuhan Iron & Steel Group Finance Corporation (WISGFC) as a specific study case, beginning with its history and present situations, focusing on the analysis of the external and internal environments by using some financial theories and managerial models. Such as imperfect Information Theory, Inner Management Theory and Industrial Capital Theory. The author analyzes new trends of Foreign Finance Corporation too.According to the analyses of finance companies, compared the two main development strategies, group-dependent development strategy and group-independent development strategy. The author considers that the Group-Dependent Development Strategy is the best choice for WISGFC. Finally, puts forward a scientific and practical Development Strategy for WISGFC.
