Research On Retailer's Ordering Policy For Perishable Commodities With Stochastic Demand

According to the National Natural Science Fund Project—the research of stochastic demand with service income management on perishable commodities in network environment. This thesis studies inventory management of perishable commodities under the SCM (Supply Chain Management), which aims to find order quantity that maximizes the retailer's expected profit with stochastic demand.At first, on the basis of introducing the research background and meaning and the study in the domestic and international, points out the main research contents and methods are the inventory management and expected profit of the retailers.The second, introduce the characters of inventory management in SCM, and provides several traditional inventory control methods: Periodical and Quantity. Then analyzes the characters of revenue management.The third is the key of this thesis. It analyses the inventory management perishable merchandise with stochastic demand in price effect or not; establishes the system mathematic model. Then find the effect of different factors to the optimal and the retailer's expected profit. And draw the figs of the different factors effecting the optimal and the retailer's expected profit, making the effect in evidence.At last all achievements of the thesis are summed up and some future directions for research is suggested.
