The Research On Theories And Methods Of Multi-Project Management

After systematically summarizing the background and current research of multi-project management, this paper puts forward a framework of enterprise strategy-based project portifolio management for the solution of the combination of project selection and enterprise strategy. The paper describes the framework and offers an available method-strategy evaluation and standard proportion. This article has not only explored the problem concerning the project portifolio, but illustrated the adopted method with examples. Firstly, this article systemically combs and analyzes the important literature and research result at home and abroad concerning the multi-project management, then compares the selection method in the project portifolio. Based on the aforementioned analysis, this article finally raises the strategy-oriented project portifolio. i.e, the project portifolio framework from the combination of enterprise strategy and combination management.The main contents can be found as follows:1 It systemically studies the new subject of project management— multi-project management problem and rather systemically illustrates the multi-project management model raised by the scholars at home and abroad.2.It systemically studies the commonly-adopted selection method in the combination management nowadays and analyses and illustrates the main thought and computing method exploited in every method in details.3.It puts forward the strategy-oriented project portifolio framework from the combination of enterprise strategy and strategy target. It analyses the levels of project management, ascertains and connects the strategy target in the framework, explains the feedback and improvement concerning the project portifolio, gives the effective project selection model—strategy and standard proportion, and thus solves the project selection problem in the framework.
