In 21st century, under the background of economy globalization, market competition is more vehement. More and more enterprises realize that only relying on their own resources is hard to win in the fierce competition, and the cost-based competition between enterprises have developed into the time-based competition between whole supply chains. The new direction for enterprises management is supply chain management (SCM). SCM emphasizes enterprises collaboration, information sharing and the whole supply chain optimization. Inventory management, which under the circumstance of SCM has lots of problems, is a crucial part of SCM. However, under supply chain management condition, traditional methods of inventory control can't solve these problems for it requires that inventory should be integrated and optimized.Based on expatiating on the theories of inventory research and the traditional methods of inventory control, this dissertation analyzes the characteristics and problems of inventory management under the circumstance of SCM. Uncertainties analysis of supply chain is our emphasis and we bring forward that supply uncertainty, production uncertainty, demand uncertainty and environment uncertainty are the main sources of it. Furthermore, taking the high-tech enterprise for example, we originally analyze the different characteristic and uncertainties of its supply chain. According to it, this dissertation establishes and discusses the inventory control model concerned two levels supply chain of high-tech enterprise and its distributor. Finally, in this dissertation some strategies are also proposed to lessen uncertainties of high-tech enterprise's supply chain.
