Forward-Looking Research On Adjustment And Optimization Of Industry Structure Of Wenzhou City

Since China issued the reform and opening-up policy, Wenzhou City has found a development route with comparative advantage during the course of early market oriented reform, hence the rapid grow of economy. Meanwhile, with the globalization of economy and regional unification, problems arise in social and economic mode change, which hindered economy development to certain extent, especially for the problems of "small scale, low level and scattering place " of Wenzhou industry needed to be settled urgently. For this purpose, author bases on the theory of western industry economics theory and theoretical results of research on industry structure application by Chinese scholars, combines qualitative analysis with quantitative analysis and comparative analysis with exemplification analysis, objectively analyses, estimates and judges the industry structure of Wenzhou City to discover the direction of adjustment and optimization of industry structure of Wenzhou city. Furthermore, feasible and effective policies and conditions to ensure the application are also provided. This paper is written in four chapters as follows:Chapter 1: Basic Theory. Industry structure and related conceptions are introduced to analyze universal law of industry structure evolution and development trend of regional industry structure under the background of regional unification, which lays a solid theory foundation for the analysis in subsequent context.Chapter 2: Present Status Analysis. By analysis of historical status, advantage feature and reason of industry structure of Wenzhou City, and by comparative analysis of industry structures of Tokyo, Taiwan and Shanghai, the importance and necessity of adjustment and optimization of industry structure in Wenzhou city is putt forward.Chapter 3: Related Factors. By analysis of related factors of industry structure adjustment as labor resource distribution, technology advancement, investment and financing structure, present status and problems of related factors of industry structure adjustment of Wenzhou City are clarified. Therefore, feasible solution approach to the choke point constraint of industry structure adjustment of Wenzhou City is provided.Chapter 4: Countermeasure Study. Leading industry of Wenzhou City is analyzed and studied on the basis of understanding definition of leading industry and norm selection. Countermeasures are proposed for the upgrade of industry structure of Wenzhou City.
