Nowadays, the enterprises are faced up with a more complicated and uncertain situation and it is increasingly difficult for any individual enterprise to attain a persistent superiority in competition. This leads to the co-operations between enterprises in which the enlargement in size unarguably exerts influences on the reduction of the cost of co-operation and the improvement of the performance of the co-operation. Overall, to many enterprises, the enlargement in size means the enhancement of competitive capability. However, through co-operation, a number of enterprises do not yield satisfying performance. And the enlargements do not usher in profits or make the enterprises more competitive. Hence, how can we define the relations between co-operation and the size of an enterprise? This dissertation, as part of the project co-conducted with the author's supervisor, makes an analysis mainly from the perspective of Cost and income angle and marks a periodic fruit of the project. The dissertation concentrates on the relations between the cost of enterprise co-operation, the change in the cost in light of the change in size, and the change in profits in light of the change in size. As a dynamic research on the co-operation and size, it endeavors to pave the way for the ensuing studies. This dissertation mainly adopts the structural module, with the samples taken from Chongqing, Sichuan, Guangdong, Guangxi, etc.. By means of pilot and factor analysis, we modifies certain indexes, and then move on to a large sample study to examine the validity of the variable indexes, and finally conduct the structural module analysis. We draw a conclusion that co-operation cost have right effect on the variety of co-operation cost and benefit. The conclusion proves that co-operation can give rise to the enlargement in size and the area of the cooperation moves rightwards. In the research, we find that the change in the cost of co-operation is not significantly influential on the profits. With regard to this, we maintain the main reason is the sluggishness of the influences of the loss that technical ability of specialize bring and the appropriation devotion. Therefore, the success co-operation of enterprises is by no means deprived of the strategies and cost profits. In this sense, this dissertation can serve as a reference for the sequential researches.
