The Strategy For The Development Of China's Manufacture

The new pattern of global division system has emerged with the change from vertical division to mixed division as well as the coexistence between inter-industries, intra-industries and intra-products. With this pattern, the trend of development of the modern manufacturing industry can be featured such as Globalisation and cluster, service and sustainable development; the diversification and personalisation; high-technology; modernisation.of manufacturing; emphasising basic manufacturing technology development and tech-level of basic parts; exploring middle-yard industry; the larger scale of industries transfer and so on. It would be helpful to China's involvement in global manufacture division and interface the industries transfer from the developed countries to analyse the current situation and development strategy in US, Germany and Japan and clarify their significant impact on the global manufacturing industries, especially their development strategy for manufacturing industry. This paper proposes the long-run goal for the development of China's manufacturing industry—creating world-manufacturing centre; and analyse the conditions for being the centre for the world manufacture as well as China's potentials. In addition, the paper concludes strategic measures to host the transfer from foreign countries; and to continue to strengthen the position as a processing and assemble base; gradually expand industry chain. The paper also addresses strategic measures to endeavour to take up various types of technological co-operation in order to enhance China's innovation ability on technology; forward the restructuring of China's manufacturing industry in order to improve China's enterprises' international competence; further market-driven reform and develop recycling-economy in order to promote the stable development of economy and provide the manufacturing industry with a beneficial external environment.
