Ecological Technology And The Sustainable Development Of SMEs In Hubei Province

Enterprise is the main body of the technological innovation; the technology is the kernel competitive power of the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The small and medium-sized enterprises must innovate on technology continuously to maintain their competitiveness and promote their own sustaining development. During a long period, the SMEs only went in for economic benefit during technological innovation, but they ignored to utilize resource permanently and protect environment, which led to many serious results. One of them is that the exploitation and utilization of natural resource has overstepped the regeneration of the natural resource; another is that the waste released into natural environment has exceeded the adjustment power of the ecological system. The final result is the lack of resource and the serious pollution of environment. Therefore, the SMEs in Hubei province are facing the problem of unsustainable development.To make the development of the SMEs sustainable, a new technology must be exploited, that is the ecological technology, which can make the economic benefit, social benefit and ecological benefit of the enterprise harmonic and uniform, ecological technology is constructed on the basis of modern ecology; is helpful to promote the harmony of human and nature; promote the sustainable development of human society. The Narrow sense of ecological technology is the general term of the technology, techniques and products of following ecological theories and ecological economic rules, saving resource and energy source, avoiding and removing ecological pollution and destroy and the least negative ecological effect of "no or less social effect of pollution". However, the general sense of ecological technology is the summation of various means of environment protection and maintaining ecological balance, which applied by human for sustainable development.For the more serous environment pollution and the lack of energy source, ecological technology is the inevitable choice of the SMEs in Hubei province. Ecological technology is a new technology mode. Not like the traditional pipe-of-end treat, it reduces the consumption of natural resource at its large; it applies green techniques and clear production; it produces the least waste; it provides good quality product of safety and saving energy source and environment protection with customer; when the life of product is over, the ecological technology can utilize the parts circularly, decompose the waste and make them become resource again. The development and applications of the ecological technology can not only protect resource environment, but also gain considerable economic effect. The SMEs in Hubei province must innovate ecological technology to maintain the sustainable development.This dissertation discussed the relationship of the ecological technology innovation, promoting the core competition power of the SMEs in Hubei province and maintaining the sustainable development on the following aspects.In the first chapter, the purposes, meanings and present researching state at home and abroad of this subject were introduced briefly in the preface.In the second chapter, the define of the SMEs was given, the characteristics of the SMEs in China and the developing states of that in Hubei province were introduced, the problems of the SMEs during the sustainable development were also presented.In the third chapter, the historical inevitability and the developing course of the ecological technology were analyzed. Based on the above research, the meaning of the ecologicaltechnology was narrowly and generally defined separately. At the same time, the characteristics of the ecological technology were presented, and the important role of the ecological technology on the sustainable development of the SMEs in Hubei province was discussed.In the fourth chapter, disadvantageous factors of the ecological technology development in the SMEs of Hubei province were discussed, which includes the shortage of capital, the pinch of talents, the immaturity of the technology market, the indifferent monopoly consciousness of enterprises, the lack of prompting measures from government and public zoology consumption. Based on the above study, the basic ideas of ecological technology development were presented by government and enterprise point of view separately. On one hand the government must exert macro-control function; on the other hand, ecological technology innovation must be optimized.In a word, for the sustainable development of economy—society in Hubei province, the SMEs is very important. It is necessary to study and apply ecological technology for the sustainable development of the SMEs.This dissertation includes the following innovative points:Firstly, with the combination of the actual status of the SMEs in Hubei province, the relationship of the innovation of the ecological technology and the sustainable development of the SMEs in Hubei province was discussed profoundly, the necessity of the ecological technology development in the SMEs was pointed out.Secondly, the difficulties faced by the SMEs in Hubei province during the ecological technology development were analyzed, the corresponding measures were presented, which can also guide the sustainable development of the small and medium-sized in Hubei province for references.
