From 'City-Country Contradiction' To 'City-Country Integration'

The thesis reflects Marx and Engels' criticization to city-country contradicition conditions and Howard's Graden Cities Theory of that era on the horizon of Chinese modernization,urbanization and information since the sixteenth conference of China Communist Party and the third session of the sixteenth conference of China Communist Party have raised the Perspective of Scientific Development and 'Five Unifications'.It asserts the theories formed under the background of that time which was that industry civilization became the axis of time and capital expanded,spreaded and dominated all.They advocated destructing the structure of two-pole of city-country and achieving city-country integration through criticizing social realities:capital dominating estate,city dominating country and urban civilization dominating rural civilization,and then proposes the routes to solving problems on the basic of considering the relations of city-country.Later,it points out that rebuilding the Neo-relations of city-country of 'Co-existing and Co-flourishing' is the value pursuing for all Chinese,and city-country integration is an important content of constructing socialist Harmonious Society.
