Countermeasures And Influence Research On Economic Development From Western Region Development To The Delta Of Yangtse River

The strategy for developing the western region of China is one of the most important decisions facing the 21^st Century made by the Central Committee of the Communist Party and State Department, which has brought about and will further bring about a series of important influences on the eastern region of China, especially to the Delta of Yangtse River Region with the most developed economy and society. On the basis of the relevant theories of Regional Economics as well as the relevant research findings of domestic scholars, this paper evaluated the actualization, development and the effect of the strategy for developing the western region of China. Furthermore, it discussed the new tendency of the Delta of Yangtse River Region in the future. It's the first time that we made a summary of the participance of the Delta of Yangtse River Region in the past 4 years, including the introduction of the participance, its effect and evaluation. In the meantime, we looked forward the influences from the new round of the development of the western region of China to the Delta of Yangtse River Regions. According to the theory of " Dot—Axes" and the actual situation of the western region of China together with the Delta of Yangtse River Region, this paper put forward the theory of space development with "Claw" shape for the first time, so as to realize the linked development of the western region of China and the Delta of Yangtse River Regions, shorten the gaps between the eastern and western regions, and plan the regional development as a whole.
