Study On ERP Actualization Strategy Of Mid & Small-Scale Enterprises

The amount of Mid & Small-Scale Enterprises (MSSE) is quite huge in most countries. They are very import to national economy. With these days Chinese economy rising rapidly, the management of Chinese MSSE is more and more mentioned. ERP is a very important management theory. Many companies have gained large profite through actualizing ERP. But more companies just reached fail. Whether MSSE of China can actualize ERP and improve their management is a pressing problem to us.This dissertation introduced the importance to Chinese economy of MSSE and their actuality with ERP firstly. Then the dissertation analyzed some viewpoints and misunderstanding of MSSE to actualizing ERP. Furthermore, it raised the necessary and feasibility of Chinese MSSE to actualizing ERP. Besides these, the dissertation raise some strategies to increase the success-rate of actualizing ERP of MSSE in order that the MSSE would realy gain profit through ERP. The back half of this dissertation focused on analyzing and discussing these strategies. The author thought updating conception was more important to MSSE than to large-scale enterprises (LSE) in ERP actualization project. He also thought "Holistic Planing and Actualizing Step by Step" could reduce the difficulty and increase the success-rate of ERP actualization project effectively. The author made some discussion on the different emphasis between MSSE and LSE in early ERP actualization project. Then he provided some detailed strategies on object making, staff arranging, cooperate partner selecting, data preparing, etc. to MSSE in early ERP actualization project, and proved them. These strategies integrating with essential works of early ERP actualization produced a procedure table for MSSE. In the end, the author provided two cases of MSSE actualizing ERP to verify these strategies.There are many subjects of MSSE to study and discuss. This dissertation concentrate on ERP and management problem of MSSE. It raised some viewpoint and theory aiming to contribute to MSSE management and, moreover, bring more mention and discussion of MSSE.
