The Choices Of Agricultural Subsidy Policy Under WTO Framework

The agricultural subsidizing policy is widely adopted in many countries and areas around the world, especially in the developed ones as an effective means to safeguard and develop their agriculture. After China's entry into WTO, our agricultural subsidizing policy should be formulated and carried out in accordance with some basic rules of WTO and the Agricultural Agreements, which will be of great significance to enhance the competitiveness of agricultural products, to protect the farmers' benefits, to increase their incomes and promote the stable agricultural development in China. With the survey of the impact of China's entry into WTO, the analysis of current situation and existing problems in our agricultural subsidizing policy, together with the comparisons on the agricultural subsidizing measures at home and abroad, this thesis presents certain constructive suggestions on the enforcement and improvement of China's agricultural subsidizing policy in the framework of WTO.
