Study On Environmental Disclosure About Listed Companies Of Petrochemical Industry In China

As the rapid development of economy has indirectly caused the environment pollution and ecological imbalance and brought about other negative impact ect. So the only way to solve the problem between economic development and environment protection is to work out a sustainable strategy, which has been interested all over the world. Green accounting plays an important role in economic management and environmental protection, and the key point of green accounting is the information disclosure of environment pollution, called environmental disclosure. Therefore, the study on environment disclosure of green accounting is so significant to sustainable development of all the enterprises. External and internal information users of companies pay more and more attention to the environmental disclosure of green accounting. They hope to make full use of the disclosed information about the enterprises' environment protection, to re-evaluate the prospective sustainable development of enterprises' running performance, so as to provide important information for the decision making process, such as investment and loan activities. However, is the recent environmental disclosures able to satisfy the information users' requirements, or even to influence their decisions? This article tries to investigate the matter of environmental disclosures in capital market, and inquire whether the listed companies' environmental disclosure is able to bring about benefit to the listed enterprises, and become the basis for investors to make decisions or not.At first, on the base of the relations between sustainable development and green accounting, this article discusses that the environmental information discloed is the key of green accounting and that information disclosed of green accounting is very important from the point of both academic and realistic. Secondly, the effort of environment disclosure did by international and overseas governmental department are reviewed and at the same time a state of environmental disclosures is summarized synthetically. Then, through collecting and sorting out the data of petrochemical industry, it was analyzed concretely that the format and contentabout environment disclosure of the corporations which come into the market. On the basis of above, idiographic way about concretely analyzing the corporations which come into the market about petrochemical industry is advanced and farther research was expanded through the quantitative way. Finally, analyzing and discussing the research result, a final conclusion about environmental disclosure of internal corporations can be made; and how to reform environment disclosure can also be advised.
